1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your account details and the answers you give during onboarding. We may also collect basic app-usage data needed to run features like streaks, XP and prayer logging. If you turn on Hard Mode, the app uses your camera so you can take a photo of your prayer mat to unlock your apps. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

2. How we use your information

Your data is used to personalise your experience, track your progress, and improve the app. Your onboarding responses help us tailor your SiraatLock path. Prayer logs and streaks are used to power the features you see — they are a record for your own growth, not a verification of your worship. Hard Mode photos are used only to check that a prayer-mat image was taken so your apps can unlock; they are not shared and are not used to identify you.

3. Data storage & security

Your data is stored securely using our hosting provider. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your information both in transit and at rest, and we limit access to it.

4. Third-party services

We use Apple's StoreKit to manage subscriptions; Apple's own privacy policy governs their handling of payment data. We use a secure backend provider (Supabase) to store your account and progress data. These providers process data only to deliver the service.

5. Data sharing

If you add friends within the app, certain information — such as your display name and streak — may be visible to those friends so the accountability features can work. Beyond this, we do not share your personal data with other third parties.

6. Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process such requests within 30 days. Depending on your region, you may also have rights to access or correct your data.

7. Children's privacy

SiraatLock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
